Dominguez Promoted To Tacoma, Haveman To West Tenn

RALEIGH, NC. (May 29, 2010) - The Seattle Mariners announced the following roster moves that effects the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx roster. The influx of roster moves continue as INF/OF Jeff Dominguez has been promoted to Triple-A Tacoma today. Jeff has played in 17 games for West Tenn hitting .188 with 1 HR and 2 RBI. Dominguez will be making his first trip to Triple-A since a brief 2 game stint with Tacoma in 2005. Filling his roster spot is 23 year old outfielder, Brandon Haveman from Zeeland, MI. Haveman was drafted in the 29th round in 2009 by the Mariners and comes to West Tenn via extended spring training in Peoria, AZ. Haveman attended Purdue University and won the Big Ten batting title in 2008 and 2009. Began pro career last year with (R) Pulaski hitting in 36 of 48 games with a .339 AVG 5 HR and 18 RBI. His on-base percentage was .405.

The moves are made prior to tonight's 5:15 CDT game at Carolina's Five County Stadium. The Jaxx are 24-23 on the season and 3 1/2 games out of first place in the Southern League North Division.
