Utah Grizzlies News Release
West Valley City, Utah - The Utah Grizzlies announced today that Adrian Denny has been named the team's Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations. He will head the Media Relations department and handle radio play-by-play, effective immediately.
Grizzlies' GM Chuck Schell selected Denny from a large pool of talented applicants, and noted that, *his familiarity with the market and the media will be a major asset as the organization transitions to the ECHL. Adrian's hockey knowledge, enthusiasm, and play-by-play style will be popular with hockey fans.*
Denny joined the Grizzlies in October 2002 as a Group Sales Intern. During the 2003-2004 season, he was added to the broadcast team as the Radio Host, while also working in the Community Relations department. Last season, he stepped out of Community to focus strictly on broadcasting and the launch of the team's new radio show *Grizzlies Happy Hour.*
The University of Utah graduate has also served as a SportsCenter Anchor for 1320 AM KFAN in Salt Lake City, and co-hosts a weekly talk show for Salt Lake's Pacific Coast League baseball team, the Stingers. He has also done back-up play-by-play for the Stingers.
The Utah Grizzlies open the 2005-2006 season Friday, October 21 at The E-Center in West Valley City against Las Vegas. Lower Bowl Season Ticket packages are on sale starting as low as $360. For more information call (801) 988-PUCK.
