Atlanta Gladiators News Release

The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that they have signed forward Ryan Fultz for the 2005-06 season.

The Rochester, Michigan native appeared in 71 games last season for the Texas Wildcatters where he posted 20 goals and 20 assists for 40 points and finished the year with 3 power play goals and a game winning goal.

"He's an experienced forward that can finish and put the puck in the net," said Gladiators head coach Jeff Pyle. "Ryan is a hard worker who impressed me a lot in the short time we had him last season"

Fultz came to the Gladiators last season in a trade with the Texas Wildcatters on February 24th in exchange for forward Alex Sawruk. The trade was nullified on February 27th and Fultz returned to Texas. Fultz did not appear in a game with the Gladiators last season.

The 6-foot-2, 210-pound forward represented the Arkansas Riverblades in the 2001-02 ECHL All Star Game in Trenton, New Jersey.

The Gwinnett Gladiators open the 2005-06 ECHL season at the Arena at Gwinnett Center hosting the Charlotte Checkers on October 21st. The Gladiators offer several ticket packages for different needs as well as group outings, suites and birthday parties. For more information call 770-497-5100 or log on to gwinnettgladiators.com.

The Gladiators play all 36 home games at the Arena at Gwinnett Center located on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth and are the AA affiliate of the Atlanta Thrashers.
