Delaware 87ers Acquire Josh Akognon

NEWARK, DEL. - February 21, 2013 - The Delaware 87ers have claimed former Cal State Fullerton guard Josh Akognon. Akognon, one of sixteen players selected by the Sevens in the expansion draft, will be active today.
Most recently, Akognon played with the Qing DoubleStar Eagles of China where he averaged 28 points, five assists and 37 minutes in 30 games during the 2013-14 season.
The 87ers will play their next home game at the Bob Carpenter Center in Newark, DE today, Friday, February 21 at 7 p.m. against the Texas Legends. Home and away games can be viewed via YouTube on the NBADL channel. All home games can be heard on 91.3 WVUD.
