Through Feb. 20, Canaan stands second in the D-League in assists per game (8.2) and ranks eighth in the league in scoring average (21.8). D-Fenders as D-League Co-Performers of the Week for games played Jan. 20-26. Selected by the Rockets with the 34th overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, Canaan was named to the NBA D-League All-Star Game, but was unable to attend due to injury (strained right hamstring).
