Delaware 87ers Acquire Devondrick Walker

WILMINGTON, DE - MARCH 15, 2018 - The Delaware 87ers today announced that the team has acquired guard Devondrick Walker as a returning player.

Walker (6-5, 205) most recently played for the Perth Wildcats in Australia. Last season with the Sevens, he earned the 2017 NBA Development League Most Improved Player award, was runner-up in the NBA D-League Three Point Contest and shot a perfect 12-12 from three-point range at the 2017 NBA D-League Showcase. He averaged 13 points, three rebounds, two assists and one steal in 28 minutes per game last season with Delaware. Prior to the Sevens, Walker played for the Westchester Knicks (2015-17) and first entered the League with the Austin Spurs (2014-15) through the team's open tryouts. While playing collegiately at Texas A&M-Commerce (2011-14), he averaged 11 points, four rebounds, two assists and one steal in 18 minutes per game and was a Lone Star Conference All-Second Team selection (2014).

In a related move, the 87ers have waived guard Stefhon Hannah.
