
Defender Laurent Ciman with Belgian National Team

MONTREAL - Montreal Impact defender Laurent Ciman has been selected by the Belgian National Team for two Euro 2016 qualification games.
Belgium, who currently sits in fourth place of Group B after three games, will face Cyprus at King Beaudoin Stadium, in Brussels, on March 28, before meeting Israel at Teddy Stadium three days later.
Since 2010, Ciman has been a regular with the Belgian national team. He was also on the roster for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. He made his official debut with the Red Devils on May 19, 2010 against Bulgaria, playing a total of nine games so far, including four qualifiers for Euro 2012.
Since joining the club in January, he has started all three CONCACAF Champions League games as well as one regular season MLS match.
