Orlando City SC News Release
ORLANDO - March 20, 2015 - Orlando City Soccer Club welcomes Jeff Radcliffe, Kevin Hartman and Holly Bristow as the official broadcast team for non-nationally televised games for the Lions' 2015 Major League Soccer (MLS) season. Radcliffe will serve as the play-by-play announcer in the broadcast booth accompanied by Hartman, who will provide color commentary.
Radcliffe, who handled the Club's play-by-play duties for several seasons in USL, is a former sports reporter for Bright House Sports Network, where he covered a variety of local professional and amateur sports.
A member of the U.S. Men's National Team for more than a decade, Hartman is one of the most decorated goalkeepers in MLS history. He amassed the most victories of any goalkeeper in the league with 179. He also recorded the most career clean sheets, and was the first MLS goalkeeper to record consecutive 20-win seasons. Hartman, who now resides in Florida, previously served as a part of FC Dallas' on-air broadcast team.
Bristow, who currently also serves as a reporter for FOX 35, joins the Club as the sideline reporter during home matches. The Florida native and University of Florida graduate is an award-winning broadcast journalist who joined FOX 35 in 2007. Bristow is a lifelong soccer fan who has covered the sport professionally for several years.
For games airing on national television, the radio broadcasts will be handled by Radcliffe and Tom Traxler, who previously handled color commentary for Lions' matches in USL. For games aired on local television, Traxler will be joined in the booth by Adam Schick, a radio voice for Gator Sports (including soccer). All games will air live on Real Radio 104.1 FM.
In December, the Club announced a multiyear partnership with WOFL-TV FOX 35 whereby FOX 35 and its family of networks will serve as the exclusive English-language local broadcast home for the Lions.
Earlier this week, the Club expanded its coverage statewide through a multiyear partnership with FOX Sports Florida / Sun Sports, beginning with the next home game vs. the Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Saturday, March 21, at 7:30 p.m. ET.
Eighteen Orlando City games are scheduled to be televised statewide as part of the agreement with FOX Sports Florida/ Sun Sports. Matches will also be available for live streaming on smart phones and tablets through the FOX Sports GO app.
