Dragons closer Donnie Joseph has pitched 5.1 innings over four appearances, and has yet to allow an earned run. Joseph picked up the win on opening night, and has since posted a pair of saves.
The Dragons are in their 11th season of professional baseball in Dayton. Former Reds first baseman Todd Benzinger has returned for his second season with the Dragons. Joining him on the coaching staff are hitting coach Ken Griffey, Sr., a member of the Reds Hall of Fame, and pitching coach Tony Fossas, a veteran of 12 Major League seasons as a player.
