
David Walker Named Captain

ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, proud affiliate of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings, announced that defenseman David Walker has been named team captain. Center Jon Francisco and defenseman Luke Beaverson have been named home alternate captains. Defenseman Chad Starling and forward Shawn Collymore will serve as alternate captains during away games.
"Dave is a veteran leader in the locker room as well as off the ice," said head coach Karl Taylor. "He is a good example for our younger guys to look up to."
