Kalamazoo Wings News Release
For the third time this season and the first time on the road, the Kalamazoo Wings will take on the defending Kelly Cup Champions Cincinnati Cyclones. On the season, the K-Wings are 2-0-0-0 against the Cyclones with both victories occurring in either overtime or a shootout.
Concluding a four-game road swing this evening, the K-Wings are looking for their first win on the trip. The K-Wings, who started the season on a three-game winning streak, are now winless in their last three contests (0-2-0-1).
Like the K-Wings, the Cyclones have struggled going winless in their last five games (0-3-1-1). Occupying fourth place in the North Division, Cincinnati starts the night three points behind the K-Wings in second place and one point behind the Toledo Walleye for third.
