
David Choiniere Undergoes Successful Ankle Surge Ry

MONTREAL - The Montreal Impact announced on Wednesday that midfielder David Choinière has had surgery to his left ankle.
Choinière, 21, has played five MLS games since his debut in 2016. He scored his first career goal with the first team on May 30, 2017, in Vancouver, in a Canadian Championship semi-final game.
Last season, he only played three games because of the same ankle injury.
Choinière will be out for approximately five to six months.
