David Booth Joins Comets on Conditioning Assignment

Vancouver Canucks President & General Manager Michael D. Gillisannounced today that the Canucks have assigned left wing David Booth to theAHL Utica Comets on a conditioning assignment.

Booth, 28, has missed the last four Canucks games with a lower body injuryand has appeared in 11 of 16 games with Vancouver this season, recording onegoal and two assists. Over the span of his game NHL career, the Detroit, MInative has collected 202 points (105-97-202) in 388 games.

This will be Booth's first stint in the American Hockey League since 25games to start his professional career with the Rochester Americans in the2006-07 season. The Comets host the Toronto Marlies on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
