Mazanec is a perfect 5-0-0 in his first five starts in the American Hockey League with Milwaukee, and is one of three AHL netminders with a sub-2.00 goals-against average (1.97) and a save percentage north of 0.930 (.933) and helping the Admirals to an eight-game point (6-0-2) streak to start the season. Hellberg made his NHL debut on October 26th against St. Louis, stopping three of four shots in relief duty. When he was recalled by the Preds on October 24th, Hellberg had posted a 1-2-0 record, a 2.23 goals-against average and a .913 save percentage.
