Wolves Trade Miller to Springfield

The Chicago Wolves announced Tuesday they have traded forward TIM MILLER to the Springfield Falcons in exchange for future considerations.

The 26-year-old forward has accrued 7 penalty minutes in four games with the Wolves this season. He accumulated 6 points (2G, 4A) and 73 penalty minutes in 56 games with Chicago last season.

The Davisburg, Mich., native ranked fourth on the Wolves with a career-high 19 goals and fifth with a career-best 38 points in 75 games in 2011-12. He also paced Chicago and shared seventh among American Hockey League forwards with a +19 plus/minus rating that year.

Overall, MILLER has tallied 34 goals, 33 assists and 67 points in 190 career AHL contests with the Wolves and Syracuse Crunch spanning six seasons (2008-present). He also skated in 90 ECHL contests with the Gwinnett Gladiators, collecting 71 points (35G, 36A) and 205 penalty minutes.
