
Dash Involved in Series of Player Promotions

Winston-Salem Dash News Release
The Chicago White Sox have announced the following moves affecting the Winston-Salem Dash:
- INF David Herbek promoted to Winston-Salem from Low-A Kannapolis
- RHP Nick McCully promoted to Double-A Birmingham from Winston-Salem
- INF Kyle Shelton promoted to Triple-A Charlotte from Winston-Salem
Herbek earns his first jump to the High-A level in his minor league career. In 43 games with the Intimidators, Herbek hit .214 with nine RBI and 28 runs scored. McCully, who had been with the Dash since the start of the season, posted a 4-3 record with a 2.89 earned run average in 24 relief appearances. Shelton is back with the Knights after spending four days with the Dash. He has hit safely in all six games with Winston-Salem this season.
