
Dante Sealy Called into Youth National Team Duty

Frisco, Texas - FC Dallas Homegrown Dante Sealy has been called up to the United States U-16 Youth National Team for the 2019 Nike International Friendlies running from Nov. 14-18 in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. FC Dallas Academy defender Jonathan Gomez will also join Sealy with the U-16s, and FC Dallas Academy goalkeeper Seth Wilson will participate in the tournament with the U.S. U-17 National Team.
Sealy, 16, scored one goal and recorded three assists in 19 appearances while on loan with the reigning USL League One champion North Texas Soccer Club. Sealy made his professional debut in North Texas SC's season opener on March 30 and scored his first professional goal on June 1 against the Richmond Kickers. Sealy signed with FC Dallas as the 25th Homegrown player on February 26 and became the second youngest player to sign with the club behind Bryan Reynolds.
Gomez, 16, had two assists in eight regular season appearances for North Texas SC and also started and played the full 90-minutes in the USL League One Final where North Texas SC defeated Greenville Triumph, 1-0 on Oct. 19. Gomez joined the FC Dallas Academy in 2016 and was named to the U.S. Soccer Development Academy Best XI Central Conference at the end of the 2018-2019 season.
The U-16s will play Netherlands on Thursday, Nov. 14 at 2:30 p.m. CT, the U.S. U-17s on Saturday, Nov. 16 at 5:30 p.m. CT and Turkey on Monday, Nov. 18 at 2:30 p.m. CT.
Wilson, 17, has been with the FC Dallas Academy since 2016. He has been in goal in 68 matches for the Academy, including four during this 2018-2019 season. Wilson was on the preliminary roster for North Texas SC three times and made the bench on June 1 against the Richmond Kickers.
The U-17s will play Turkey on Thursday, Nov. 14 at 5:30 p.m. CT, the U.S. U-16s on Saturday, Nov. 16 at 5:30 p.m. CT and Netherlands on Monday, Nov. 18 at 5:30 p.m. CT.
