Dallas Assigns Seven Players to Texas Stars

Cedar Park, TX - The Dallas Stars announced on Wednesday that the club has made the following roster moves to its 2011 Training Camp roster:
Assigned to Texas Stars (AHL) Training Camp: D Jordie Benn G Tyler Beskorowany D Brenden Dillon F Matt Fraser F Ryan Garbutt F Luke Gazdic D Dan Spang
The moves leave Dallas with 32 players on the Training Camp roster. The Stars will play their next preseason game this Thursday against the Florida Panthers (7:30 p.m.).
Texas will play three preseason games starting on Friday, September 30th, at 7:30 P.M. with the San Antonio Rampage visiting the Cedar Park Center. The team will then visit the Rampage on Saturday, October 1st, at 3:00 P.M. in San Antonio. The game will be played at the Ice Center at Northwoods in San Antonio. Texas will round out its preseason schedule by hosting the Houston Aeros at 5:00 P.M. at Cedar Park Center. Tickets to both preseason games at the Cedar Park Center are now on sale.
Individual tickets for all games are on sale now, including Opening Weekend on October 9th, as well as both home preseason games on September 30th and October 2nd. Tickets are available online at www.TexasStarsHockey.com or by calling 512.GO.STARS (467.8277).
The Texas Stars will host Opening Night at Cedar Park Center on Sunday, October 9th against the San Antonio Rampage at 5:00 pm. Every fan who attends the first regular season game of the year will receive a Texas Stars magnetic schedule compliments of Austin Telco Credit Union.
