CEDAR PARK, Texas - The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL's Dallas Stars, announced today forward Cole Ully has been assigned to the club from Dallas.

The 20-year-old Ully (YOO-lee) just finished up his junior season for the Western Hockey League's Kamloops Blazers, where he has tallied 237 points in 256 career games (95 goals, 142 assists). The 5-foot-11, 170-pound native of Calgary, Alberta was the Blazers leading scorer this past season with 30 goals and 94 points overall in 69 games.

Ully was a fifth-round pick of the Dallas Stars (131st overall) in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.

Texas visits the San Antonio Rampage tonight at 7 p.m.

The Texas Stars entered the 2014-15 season as the AHL's defending Calder Cup Champions.
