
Dahlberg Dazzles as Dogs Win Second Straight

FRANKLIN, Wis. - The Skinny: The combination of LHP Jake Dahlberg, who kept the Milwaukee Milkmen scoreless through five innings, and catcher Garrett Hope, who blasted an early two-run home run, powered the Chicago Dogs past Milwaukee, 3-2. Hope's two-run home run in the third inning put Chicago ahead, 2-0. Later on, Dylan Tice mashed two-run long ball to even the game in the top of the sixth. Minutes later, Michael Crouse scored from third base on a passed ball to give the Dogs a 3-2 lead in the bottom of the inning. That lead held to the end, as Adam Choplick earned the save for Chicago.
