Player Notes
D.C. United Designated Player Taxi Fountas made his first MLS and Black-and-Red start; he scored two goals and recorded an assist.
Taxi Fountas was the first player in MLS history to record two goals and an assist in the first half of his first MLS start.
Julian Gressel recorded his second assist of 2022 in the 39th minute; his second assist in consecutive games.
Michael Estrada scored his third goal of the season in the 39th minute; his last goal came on Feb. 26.
Jon Kempin made his first start of the 2022 MLS Regular Season; he recorded seven saves.
Donovan Pines made his second consecutive start and completed 90 minutes.
Homegrown midfielder Jackson Hopkins made his second consecutive appearance as a 60th-minute substitute.
