
D.C. United to Hold Fan Appreciation Day on 2013 Season Finale

Washington, D.C. (October, 15 2013) - D.C. United today announced details of Fan Appreciation Day, to be held on Sunday, Oct. 27 as the Black-and-Red hosts the Houston Dynamo (1:30 p.m.; NBC) in their final game of the 2013 Major League Soccer season. BUY TICKETS
All fans in attendance will receive 30% off of all D.C. United merchandise and the first 5,000 fans will receive commemorative U.S. Open Cup Championship posters. Fans will also have the opportunity to win special player opportunities, post-game autograph availability and special premium opportunities in the VW Garage, where all 13 major domestic and international trophies will be displayed. Also, as a result of the season long man of the match campaign, one lucky fan will receive a Breitling "SuperOcean 44" wristwatch alongside Bill Hamid courtesy of Lenkersdorfer Fine Jewelers.
"D.C. United supporters and their continuous enthusiasm and energy inspire everyone associated with our club," said D.C. United Chief Operating Officer Michael Williamson. "On October 27, we'll pay tribute to the greatest fans in Major League Soccer."
For Season Ticket Holders, three players will appear in the Champions Club before the game, and they will also have the opportunity to win prizes prior to and during the match such as seat upgrades, Lot 8 parking passes for 2014 and a catered tailgate party in 2014. Additionally, all Season Ticket Holders will receive 50% off all merchandise and Supporters Club members will receive 40% off all merchandise.
