
MLS Disciplinary Committee Fines Seattle for Mass Confrontation

NEW YORK (Oct.15, 2013) - The MLS Disciplinary Committee has determined that Seattle Sounders FC violated the League's mass confrontation policy in the 74th minute of their October 13 game against the Portland Timbers (VIDEO). Sounders FC are fined $5,000 and Head Coach Sigi Schmid is fined $1,000 because this is the club's second infraction this year.
