
D.C. United, Emilio garner special recognitions

Washington, D.C. (July 10, 2008) - Both D.C. United and club forward Luciano Emilio have recently received special recognition. The club's front office was honored by Turnkey PRISM for its customer service operations, while the 2007 MLS MVP was honored for his play on the field over the last year as a nominee in this year's ESPY Awards.
United, a finalist for the annual Turnkey PRISM Award in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 received an honorable mention for their customer service efforts over the past year. The Turnkey PRISM Award is presented to the American major league team that best exemplifies the PRISM ideals across five criteria: managing human resources, marketing (branding, advertising and promotion), fan development, community relations and customer/client service. Last season, the club received an honorable mention for their community relations programming.
