
TFC Waive Lombardo

Toronto FC News Release
Toronto FC announced Thursday that they have waived forward Andrea Lombardo.
Lombardo, 21 was acquired as a Developmental player at the start of the 2007 MLS season.
He started six of six games in the MLS Reserve Division this season, logging 315 minutes. Lombardo finished with one goal and one assist; he did not feature in any first team games this season.
In 2007 he started six of 16 games for Toronto FC compiling 726 minutes. He recorded his first goal for TFC in a friendly against English Premier League side Aston Villa, and scored three goals in eight Reserve League appearances that year.
Lombardo was also a member of the Canada U-20 FIFA World Cup squad.
