
D.C. United Announce 2021 Preseason Schedule

D.C. United News Release
WASHINGTON, DC - D.C. United have announced their schedule for the 2021 Preseason presented by Leidos in preparation for the 2021 Major League Soccer (MLS) Regular Season that kicks off on April 17. The full MLS schedule will be announced at a later date.
D.C. United will train in the nation's capital before playing their first exhibition match of 2021 against Greenville Triumph SC in USL League One on March 20. The Black-and-Red will travel to Cary, North Carolina on Monday, March 15 to train then will play in a friendly against a to-be-determined opponent on Saturday, March 20.
Following the friendly, D.C. United will return to Washington, D.C. to continue preseason preparations. The Black-and-Red will then play USL affiliate team Loudoun United FC on March 26 at Audi Field with kickoff scheduled for 3 p.m. ET.
After the friendly against Loudoun United, D.C. United will travel to play the Philadelphia Union at Subaru Park on March 31 with the match scheduled for 3 p.m. ET. The Black-and-Red will return to Washington, D.C. again before traveling back to Chester, PA to play New York City FC on April 4 at the Philadelphia Union's training facility. To round out the 2021 preseason, the Black-and-Red will face the New York Red Bulls on April 10 at Red Bull Arena with kickoff time to be determined at a later date.
More information about how to watch the friendlies will be made available by the club. Currently, all matches will be played behind closed doors without spectators present.
