CINCINNATI - After a week of training on a voluntary basis, FC Cincinnati players are back at the Mercy Health Training Center for full-squad training sessions. The first week of preseason training will be highlighted by a closed-door match against Louisville City FC on Saturday, March 13.

The Orange and Blue will continue to train in market at the Mercy Health Training Center through March 22, before embarking on a 12-day trip to Orlando, Fla. The Orange and Blue will square off with Chicago Fire FC on March 27, Orlando City SC on March 31 and Minnesota United FC on April 3

Welcome Brenner

Brenner, FCC's newest signing, arrived in Cincinnati on Saturday, March 6 ... the Orange and Blue acquired Brenner as a Young Designated Player from Brazilian side São Paulo FC on February 9 ... Brenner will be able to join FC Cincinnati in training after receiving full medical clearance at the conclusion of the mandatory seven-day quarantine period.

FCC conclude week of voluntary training

Players who decided to enter the MLS testing protocol on a voluntary basis participated in team training throughout the course of last week ... 2021 MLS SuperDraft picks Calvin Harris and Avionne Flanagan participated in their first trainings with the club ... four academy products joined the Orange and Blue for preseason training.

Preseason opponents set

The Orange and Blue announced their preseason schedule for the 2021 MLS season on March 3 ...the schedule is highlighted by a 12-day trip to Orlando, Fla., starting on March 23 ... in Orlando, the club will play three preseason matches against Chicago Fire FC (March 27), Orlando City SC (March 31) and Minnesota United FC (April 3).

Amaya called up to U-23 camp

Midfielder Frankie Amaya has been called up to the U.S. Under-23 Men's National Team training camp in Guadalajara, Mexico ... Amaya is one of 31 players in camp as the U.S. U-23s kick off preparations for the Concacaf Men's Olympic Qualifying Championship ... USA kicks off Olympic qualifying against Costa Rica on Thursday, March 18.
