
D.C. United Acquire $75,000 in General Allocation Money from the Colorado Rapids

WASHINGTON, DC - D.C. United announced today the acquisition of $75,000 in General Allocation Money (GAM) from the Colorado Rapids in exchange for defender Michael Edwards' Major League Soccer rights. The trade includes conditions that D.C. United will receive additional compensation up to $100,000 in GAM from the Rapids based on Edwards' performance. Edwards is a product of the D.C. United Academy and joined the VfL Wolfsburg U-19 team in Germany on Jan. 1, 2019.
