
Chicago Fire FC Defender Miguel Navarro Receives U.S. Green Card

CHICAGO - Chicago Fire FC today announced that defender Miguel Navarro has received his U.S. Green Card, granting him permanent resident status in the United States. With permanent resident status, Navarro will no longer occupy an international slot on the Fire's roster.
Navarro, 22, originally joined the Fire on Jan. 27, 2020, and made 19 appearances (10 starts) in his debut season. Additionally, the defender earned his first call up to the Venezuela National Team in 2020 after featuring regularly at the youth levels for his home country.
Chicago currently has 29 players under contract for the 2021 season. Below is the Fire's current 2021 roster.

CHICAGO (4 de marzo de 2021) - Chicago Fire FC anunció hoy que el defensa Miguel Navarro recibió su tarjeta de residencia permanente de Estados Unidos. Con el estatus de residente permanente, Navarro ya no ocupará un puesto internacional en la lista del Fire.
Navarro, de 22 años, se unió al Fire el 27 de enero de 2020 y jugó 19 partidos (10 como titular) en su temporada debut. Además, el defensa fue convocado por primera vez con la Selección Nacional de Venezuela en el 2020 después de haber figurado de manera consistente a nivel juvenil de su paÃÂs.
