
Czarnowczan Headed To Ferris State

(Green Bay, WI) -) The Green Bay Gamblers of the United States Hockey League (USHL) are pleased to announce that defenseman Scott Czarnowczan has committed to the Ferris State University of the Central Collegiate Hockey Association. Czarnowczan is scheduled to arrive at Ferris State in the fall of 2011. Czarnowczan has appeared in 21 games during his rookie campaign with the Gamblers, registering eight assists and +9 plus/minus rating.
Czarnowczan, becomes the 11th Gambler off the 2009-10 squad to commit to a NCAA Division I institution or sign a professional contract. Others include forwards Chris Crane, Alex Kubiak (Yale), Anders Lee (Notre Dame) Sean Little, Reed Seckel (Northern Michigan), defensemen Aaron Harstad (Colorado College), Max Hartner (Air Force), Brian O'Rourke (Nebraska-Omaha), Nick Jensen (St. Cloud State), David Makowski (Denver).
