JERSEY SHORE, NJ - Omar De Los Santos had three hits including a home run and Brooklyn topped the BlueClaws 6-1 on Thursday night at ShoreTown Ballpark.
The BlueClaws (24-22) and Cyclones (21-25) have split the first four games of their eight game series.
Chase Estep opened the scoring with a home run off Matt Osterberg in the second inning, his second home run of the season.
The BlueClaws tied the game in the bottom of the third on an RBI double by Rafael Marchan, who began a rehab assignment with the BlueClaws on Thursday. It was a return to Lakewood for Marchan, who spent 2019 with the BlueClaws, then the Phillies Low-A affiliate.
Estep was at it again in the fourth, with an RBI single to give Brooklyn back the lead at 2-1. Cesar Berbesi doubled in the fifth and scored on an RBI single from Omar De Los Santos to push the Cyclones lead to 3-1.
Osterberg came out after 4.2 innings of work, and was charged with three runs on six hits with five strikeouts.
Brooklyn added three more in the seventh. Berbesi doubled in a run of Carlos Francisco. Omar De Los Santos greeted Sam Jacobsak with a two-run homer on the first pitch he threw. For De Los Santos, it was his sixth home run of the season and pushed the lead to 6-1.
Wilkin Ramos struck out five over the final two innings for Brooklyn.
