
15 Hits Lead the Grasshoppers Over the Dash 15-6, in Third Game of Their Away Series

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Greensboro Grasshoppers defeated the Winston-Salem Dash, 15-6, in the third game of its away series on Thursday, June 1. The Grasshoppers improved to 25-21 on the season while the Dash fell to 26-20. Greensboro outhit Winston-Salem 15-7 for a mishap-free game.
Leading at the dish for the Grasshoppers was infielder Ernny Ordonez as he went 5-5 with a home run, a double, five RBI, and three runs scored. Following behind was Tsung-Che Cheng and Jase Bown. Cheng went 2-6 with one RBI and two runs scored while Bowen went 2-4 with two RBI, three runs scored, and one free base.
Starting on the mound for Greensboro was righthanded pitcher Bubba Chandler as he recorded six strikeouts and gave up four hits, three earned runs, and three free bases on four innings of work. Logan Hofmann took his first win for the Grasshoppers in one inning of work with one strikeout.
Kohl Simas took the loss for the Dash and moved to 4-2 on the season.
