CONEY ISLAND, NY -In a game that lasted four hours and seven minutes, the Jersey Shore Blue Claws used a four-run top of the ninth to propel them to an 8-6 victory over the Brooklyn Cyclones on Thursday night at Maimonides Park.

KEY PLAYS
With Brooklyn leading 5-4 in the top of the ninth, they scored four runs off Brooklyn reliever Michel Otanez. The BlueClaws got even on a strike-three wild pitch that allowed Jonathan Guzman to score from third to make it 5-5...The Blue Claws then scored three runs with two outs to make it 8-5...Jaylen Palmer had an RBI groundout in the bottom of the 9th for Brooklyn to make the final 8-6.
The Cyclones scored three runs in the bottom of the eighth to take their first lead of the game courtesy of RBI singles from Raul Beracierta, Branden Fryman and *Wilmer Reyes. *
Jersey Shore extended their lead to 4-1 in the top of the seventh, but Brooklyn answered in the bottom of the frame thanks to and RBI single from Wilmer Reyes that made it 4-2
After trading zeroes in the third, Jersey Shore took a 2-1 edge when they scored on a throwing error by *Francisco Alvarez. *
After Jersey Shore jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the top of the first, Brooklyn got even in the bottom of the 2nd after three walks loaded the bases, and OF Raul Beracierta chased home Zach Ashford with a sac fly to knot the score at 1-1.

INF Cody Bohanek left the game after getting hit by a pitch in the bottom of the 5th inning
Brooklyn went 4-for-17 with runners in scoring position
INF Wilmer Reyes and RHP Michel Otanez were both ejected from the game in the top of the 9th.
