Cyclones Add Trio of New Faces

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL's Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced today several player additions. Forward Colin Mulvey was claimed off of waivers while forward Matt Tinordi and defenseman Bo Dolan inked contracts with the club.

Mulvey joins the Cyclones after collecting eight points (5g, 3a) in 31 games for the Wheeling Nailers. Last spring, he made his professional debut with the Fort Worth Brahmas (CHL) during their playoff run and contributed a pair of goals in nine postseason tilts. Mulvey played his collegiate hockey at Norwich University, earning 91 points (49 goals, 42a) in 149 contests. He had a career-high 38 points (19g, 19a) in his senior campaign - which earned him ECAC Division-III Player of the Year and First-Team All-American accolades.

Tinordi, a 24-year-old Severna Park, Maryland native will make his professional debut with the Cyclones after completing a four-year career at RPI. During his senior season, he notched 13 points (7g, 6a) and 18 penalty minutes in 37 games. A team captain of the Engineers and a three-time ECAC All-Academic Team member, Tinordi compiled 96 points (48g, 48a) over 259 collegiate games. His brother, Jarred, is a former first-round pick of the Montreal Canadiens and has seen 24 games in the NHL.

Dolan, a native of St. Paul, Minnesota was a teammate of Tinordi's at RPI over the last four seasons and amassed 62 points (16g, 46a) in 225 collegiate games. The 23-year-old rear guard enjoyed a career-high in points (10) during his senior campaign.
