Matchup:
Orlando looks to rebound tonight as they face the Fort Wayne Komets for the first and only time this season. In their last outing on Monday night in Kalamazoo, F Scott Tanski was able to get the Solar Bears on the board first, striking on the power play with a little over five minutes left in the opening period to put Orlando ahead 1-0. Kalamazoo would strike with 12 second to play in the first, sending the game tied 1-1 into the middle period. Kalamazoo then added a goal in the second and jumped out to a 3-1 lead early in the third before depositing an empty net goal as the Wings took the 4-1 final score. The Komets played three games in three days over the weekend, first taking a 5-2 victory over the Florida Everblades before falling to Florida 3-1 on Saturday. Fort Wayne finished off the weekend with a 4-2 win over the Toledo Walleye on Sunday afternoon. Tonight's game is just the second time the Solar Bears have visited the Memorial Coliseum since the two teams both joined the ECHL last season.
