
Cutters End Home Stand with a 3-1 Win over Auburn

Samuel Hiciano hit his first home run of the season to propel the Cutters offense in the 3-1 win over Auburn. The win gave the Cutters the series win of the Doubledays. Hiciano finished the night 2-3 with a home run and two runs batted in.
Cutters starter Julio Reyes had his longest start of the season. He went five innings, allowing one run (earned) on two hits. Reyes struck out three Auburn batters while walking one. Reyes improves to 1-0 with the win.
Doubledays starter Joel Barrientos would take the loss to fall to 0-2 on the season.
Lino Martinez earned his 2nd save of the season in the win for the Cutters.
Williamsport now hits the road for a 3 game series in Connecticut followed by 3 in Aberdeen.
Cutters Record: 13-8
