GAME HIGHLIGHTS: The Williamsport Crosscutters fell to 2-2 on the season after suffering a 7-1 loss on the road against the Jamestown Jammers.

The Crosscutters made it 1-0 in the top of the first, as Maikel Franco hit a two-out RBI single to left to score Cody Asche.

The Jammers chased Williamsport starter Cody Fick with two runs on three hits in the home half of the third inning, highlighted by an RBI groundout by Brent Keys and a sac fly by Yefri Perez. They then added three runs on three hits off reliever Jesus Pirela in the fourth, increasing the lead to 5-1.

Jamestown tacked on two more runs in the fifth, as catcher Jobduan Morales hit an RBI triple to right and scored as Asche mishandled the relay throw.

Williamsport relievers Juary Gomez and Gabriel Arias combined to shut out the Jammers over the final three innings.

The Crosscutters take on the Jammers again Tuesday and Wednesday at 7:05 before returning to Williamsport to open a three-game homestead versus Batavia on June 23. Every Cutters game can be heard on ESPN Radio 104.1 FM, ESPN 1050 AM, or online at crosscutters.com.
