Southwest Michigan Devil Rays News Release
Battle Creek, MI-The Southwest Michigan Devil Rays announce that outfielder Chris Cunningham has been taken off of the disabled list and has been added to the active roster. Cunningham's injury was a strained left oblique muscle.
Second baseman Eric Durante has been demoted to Hudson Valley in the New York-Penn League. He was the Rays' 17th pick in the 2005 draft and played last year in Hudson Valley. When Durante was with the Renegades he batted .251 with three home runs and 17 RBIs in 51 games played. In 16 games this year with Southwest Michigan, Durante has a batting percentage of .146 with six hits and four RBI.
