
Cunningham Placed on Disabled Lis

Southwest Michigan Devil Rays News Release
Battle Creek, MI-The Southwest Michigan Devil Rays announce that outfielder Chris Cunningham has been placed on the disabled list, effective Friday, June 23rd. Cunningham's injury is a strained left oblique muscle.
Second baseman Eric Durante is being moved from the temporarily inactive list to the active roster. Durante's move to the active roster was effective Monday, June 26. He was the Rays' 17th pick in the 2005 draft and played last year in Hudson Valley. When Durante was with the Renegades he batted .251 with three home runs and 17 RBIs in 51 games played. In 12 games this year with Southwest Michigan, Durante has a batting percentage of .156 with five hits and three RBI.
