Cubs Take Series with 3-2 Sunday Win

Des Moines, Iowa - Lucas Harrell dealt five scoreless innings in his Astros organizational debut, but Chris Robinson hit a sixth inning three-run home run to move the Iowa Cubs (44-51) past the Oklahoma City RedHawks (40-55) before 6,152 Sunday afternoon at Principal Park.

Iowa reliever Chris Rusin (1-0) allowed one run and four hits over four innings for the winning decision. Reliever Fernando Abad (1-2) gave up the three-run home run in the sixth inning for the loss. Justin Berg (3) saved the game with a scoreless ninth inning.

Oklahoma City opened the scoring in the first inning against Iowa starter Dave Bush. J.B. Shuck singled, moved to second on a single and scored on a Koby Clemens hit for a 1-0 score.

Harrell scattered five Iowa hits over five innings with two walks and five strikeouts without a decision.

Fernando Abad, on a rehabilitation assignment from Houston, entered in the sixth inning. After giving up a single and double, Abad later gave up a one-out, three-run home run from Chris Robinson, his first of 2011, for a 3-1 Iowa lead.

Oklahoma City added a run in the eighth inning when J.R. Towles hit a solo home run for a 3-2 score.
