Cubs Picher shawn Camp to Pitch for Cougars

GENEVA, IL - The Kane County Cougars, in conjunction with the Chicago Cubs, have announced that infielder Brad Zapenas has joined the Cougars roster from the Cub' spring training complex in Arizona. Pitcher Jeffrey Antigua has also been transferred to the Cougars from Triple-A Iowa. Infielder David Bote has been transferred to Short-A Boise while pitcher Eddie Orozco has been placed on the disabled list. This afternoon's roster moves maintain an active roster of 25 players as the Cougars open a six-game homestand tonight against Burlington. First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m. Cubs pitcher Shawn Camp is scheduled to make a rehab appearance for the Cougars during tonight's game.
Zapenas (42nd round, 2011) had his '12 season cut short due to a right shoulder injury and batted .273 in 24 games at Class-A Peoria.
Camp is scheduled to pitch during tonight's game but will not start; he will wear #5. The right-hander made his Major League debut in 2004 with Kansas City. He joined the Cubs on March 26, 2012 and played in the Midwest League in 1998 with Clinton. This season with the Cubs, Camp has pitched in 20 games.
