Lake Erie Crushers News Release
Traverse City, MI - Friday night's game between the Lake Erie Crushers and the Traverse City Beach Bums has been cancelled due to rainy conditions at Wuerfel Park.
The two teams waited out a 90 minute rain delay before the game was called. The Crushers and Beach Bums will play a doubleheader on Saturday starting at 6:05 P.M. Alberto Rolon and Brent Lysander are expected to start for the Crushers against David Nathanson and David Dinelli.
The Lake Erie Crushers are the newest expansion team in the Frontier League, an independent professional league with 12 teams throughout the Midwest. The team plays its home games at All Pro Freight Stadium, the new 5,000 capacity ballpark located at the intersection of I-90 and Route 611 in Avon. Season tickets and Mini-plans are on sale now!
