Crunch to Celebrate St. Patrick\'s Day By Wearing Special Green Jerseys on March 12

Syracuse, NY (March 8, 2005) – The Syracuse Crunch announced today they will wear their green St. Patrick's Day jerseys on Saturday, March 12 against the Rochester Americans. In addition, ‘Green Beer' will be served and Irish Dancers will perform prior to game time.

This year's St. Patrick's Day jerseys are green, with white and gold trim, and features a shamrock behind the Crunch's crest. The St. Patrick's Day jersey will be available as part of the Crunch's game-worn jersey auction, which will begin in mid March.

Draft Labatt's beer will be died green and served during the game. Prior to the game, dancers from the Johnson School of Irish Dance will be performing in Memorial Hall.

The Crunch hosts Edmonton on Wednesday, March 9 at 7:00 p.m. for Labatt's Dollar Beer Night. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Crunch office at (315) 473-4444, at the Oncenter Box Office, located on the State Street side of the War Memorial or by calling TicketMaster at (315) 472-0700.
