WXPN CD DRIVE ON MARCH 18

Fans are encouraged to bring new or gently used CDs on March 18 for the WXPN CD Drive. All CD's collected that night will be donated to patients at local hospitals. Fans will receive a $3 discount off tickets for the game that night against the Worcester IceCats in exchange for a CD. In addition, Phantoms Hall of Famer Frank Bialowas will be signing autographs and the band Shame will be performing in Bullies.

PHLEX'S BIRTHDAY ON MARCH 20

The Phantoms' team mascot, Phlex, will be celebrating his ninth birthday on Sunday, March 20 during Philadelphia's game vs. Portland. Phlex will receive a cake and a card from his fellow mascots during the first intermission following a tug-of-war competition, and then join his mascot friends for the annual giant game of broomball during the second intermission.

NEXT TELEVISED GAME ON WEDNESDAY

Comcast SportsNet will air its ninth of 10 Phantoms games this season when the Phantoms visit Tsongas Arena to face the Lowell Lock Monsters on Wednesday, March 9. Flyers radio announcer Tim Saunders will handle the play-by-play duties, while Flyers color commentator Steve Coates will provide his insight into the game. Coverage for the game begins at 7:00 p.m. The final regular season telecast will take place on Sunday, March 20 when the Phantoms host the Portland Pirates.

CALDER CUP TO VISIT PHILADELPHIA

The Calder Cup tour will once again make a stop in Philadelphia during the weekend of March 18. It will be at the Phantoms home games March 18 & 20, and will even make a stop at the 76ers game on March 19. Making its ninth annual excursion around the American Hockey League, the coveted Calder Cup will cover more than 12,000 miles as it travels to 19 cities, making appearances at games, schools, area sponsors, local TV and radio stations and various other community events. The 47-day tour leads up to the start of the 2005 Calder Cup Playoffs in mid-April.

PHANTOMS RAISE OVER $37,000 IN JERSEY AUCTION

The Philadelphia Phantoms raised $37,800 in the team's first post-game jersey auction of the season on March 6, a new high total in franchise history. The Phantoms auctioned off the team's purple third jerseys from the 2003-04 season, with a portion of the proceeds to be donated to the Phantoms Wives Charities. The Phantoms Wives will also hold auctions this season on Friday, March 18 for special St. Patrick's Day jerseys and Friday, April 8 when the team dons special Philadelphia Blazers replica jerseys.

HEXTALL ON "INSIDE THE PHANTOMS" TUESDAY

The next edition of "Inside the Phantoms" will be on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m., and will now be on WNWR (1540 AM). Hosted by David Unkle, the show features a player interview, news on the team and ticket giveaways every other Tuesday throughout the season. This week's guest will be Flyers Director of Pro Hockey Personnel Ron Hextall.

SIM ON "RUMBLE WITH THE PHANTOMS" ON WEDNESDAY

Left wing Jon Sim will be the guest on the Phantoms' weekly radio show, "Rumble with the Phantoms," this Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. Hosted by Tom Shaw, the show features an interview, news on the team and ticket giveaways every Wednesday on WNJC (1360 AM). Fans can listen on the radio or online at www.wnjc1360.com.

NEXT PHANTOMS POSTGAME SHOW ON MARCH 20 Can't get enough Phantoms action? Then stick around for The Phantoms Postgame Show at Bullies Sports Bar & Restaurant. Hosted by David Unkle of the Topcat Sports Show on WNWR 1540 AM, the Phantoms Postgame Show lets you get up close and personal with your favorite Phantoms players following 24 games throughout the season. MEXICAN VACATION GIVEAWAY REGISTRATION UNDER WAY

Apple Vacations will be giving away a free trip for four to Cancun, Mexico on Fan Appreciation Night on April 17 at the Wachovia Spectrum, as the Phantoms face the Norfolk Admirals in their final home game of the regular season at 5:05 p.m. Registration for the trip, which will include airfare and accommodations at Sol Melia resorts for five days and four nights, as well as all meals, drinks and tips, is under way at the Apple Vacations table set up on the concourse.

REGISTRATION UNDER WAY TO WIN HARLEY DAVIDSON

Stop by the Harley Davidson motorcycle display on the concourse to register to win a customized Harley Davidson Sportster. The winner will be presented their new motorcycle on Fan Appreciation Night on Sunday, April 17 when the Phantoms take on the Norfolk Admirals.

TEAM BRACELETS; PUCKS & KISSES ON SALE FOR CHARITY

Comcast-Spectacor Charities is now selling special team-related silicone bracelets of the Phantoms, Flyers and 76ers. The bracelets can be purchased at home games or ordered through the individual team websites, including www.phantomshockey.com, or by calling 215-389-9426. Each bracelet is a different color and has a different word for each team, including the purple "Dream" bracelet of the Phantoms, and each is $2 apiece. The bracelets have been an overwhelming success and the demand has been greater than the supply, so the Flyers Wives ask that fans please be patient in the delivery.

In addition, Comcast-Spectacor Charities is still selling Flyers Alumni Pucks & Kisses. Priced at $20 apiece, the pucks can also be purchased at home games or ordered by calling 215-389-9426.
