Crunch Sign Defenseman Nick Holden

Syracuse, NY - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they have signed defenseman Nick Holden to an amateur try-out contract.

Holden, 20, appeared in 70 games this season for the Chilliwack Bruins (WHL), tallying 22 goals, 38 assists and 54 penalty minutes. The 6 foot 4 inch, 200 pound native of St. Albert, Alberta was named Chilliwack's top defenseman for the 2006-07 season.

In addition, he registered 16 multi-point games and served as the team captain for the 2007-08 season.

The Crunch's next game is Wednesday, April 2 vs. Binghamton at the War Memorial at Oncenter.
