Rockford IceHogs News Release
Rockford, Ill.- Rockford IceHogs Team President Ryan Washatka announced on Tuesday that tickets for Rockford's first two possible Calder Cup Playoff games will go on sale on Wednesday, April 2 at 10 a.m.
The IceHogs magic number to clinch a spot in the fast approaching Calder Cup Playoffs is six points. The number gets reduced with a combination of Rockford points gained in the standings and points lost by the ninth place team in the AHL's Western Conference. Currently Peoria is the ninth place team in the postseason standings.
Individual game ticket prices for the upcoming Calder Playoffs are $20, $17, $14 and $10. Tickets can be purchased by calling (815) 968-5222, on the web at www.centreevents.com or in person at either the MetroCentre Box Office or at Hogs Headquarters in Cherryvale Mall.
Only tickets to the first two possible Calder Cup Playoff games will be available for purchase.
Next Home Game: Saturday, April 5 vs. San Antonio Rampage. The puck drops at 7:05 p.m. A key West Division match-up at the MetroCentre as the IceHogs and Rampage meet for the final time in the regular season. The game is the IceHogs Charitable Foundation's annual Jersey Auction as the IceHogs wear special jerseys that will be auctioned following the game. The first 1,000 fans to the game will pick up a jersey auction t-shirt courtesy of Saturn of Rockford, Dental Dimensions, Alpha Controls & Services, and 13 WREX.
