Crunch Recall Alex Hutchings from Everblades

Syracuse, NY- The Syracuse Crunch have recalled left wing Alex Hutchings from the club's ECHL affiliate the Florida Everblades, Crunch GM Julien BriseBois announced today.

Hutchings, 22, has 32 points (13g, 19a) in 37 games with the Everblades this season. The 5-10, 184-lb., winger has appeared in 111 career ECHL games with the Everblades, totaling 82 points (38g, 44a). He has also earned five points (2g, 3a) in 13 games with the Norfolk Admirals of the AHL. Hutchings made his Syracuse Crunch debut on Jan. 12 vs. Rochester and has appeared in three games for Syracuse. The Burlington, Ontario native was selected by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the fourth round of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.

The Crunch host the Albany Devils Saturday at 7:30 p.m. before traveling to Glens Falls, NY for an afternoon clash with the Phantoms Sunday at 3 p.m..
