
Crosscutters remain on losing skid

The Crosscutters lost their 5th game in a row Tuesday night to Auburn in 10 innings.
Williamsport got the lead early in the second inning when SS Brett Grandstrand hit a 2-run double that scored OF Brad Corley and 3B Euvi Solano but could not hold the lead as Auburn had a 5 run 3rd inning to take back the lead. Grandstrand ended the game by going 1 for 4 with a double and 2 RBI's. Solano went 2 for 4 with a home run and 2 RBI's. Starting pitcher Derek Antelo went 2.2 innings, giving up 4 hits, 5 runs, and struck out 2.
The Crosscutters were swept for the 2nd time this season and will look to get back on track tomorrow night against the Jamestown Jammers.
