Crawdads Game in Asheville Canceled Due to Rain

ASHEVILLE, NC - Wednesday's scheduled game between the Hickory Crawdads and the Asheville Tourists at Historic McCormick Field in Asheville has been canceled due to rain. The two teams will not face each other again in the first half, so no make up game will be scheduled.
The Crawdads close the first half of the season and continue to battle for the first-half championship with a home series this Thursday - Sunday against the Charleston RiverDogs at L.P. Frans Stadium.
Thursday will be Thirsty Thursday, presented by Buffalo Wild Wings and The Big Dawg 92.1FM, with $1 can beers and Pepsis! Also, don't miss the post-game concert by Norva Jean Dreams! Thursday will be NASCAR Night - wear a NASCAR t-shirt for a Half Off Ticket! First pitch is at 7 p.m., gates open at 6 p.m.
