Coyotes Assign Jones And Murray To San Antonio

San Antonio Rampage News Release
GLENDALE, ARIZONA --- Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have assigned defenseman Matt Jones and center Garth Murray to the San Antonio Rampage, the team's American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate. In addition, defenseman Jonas Ahnelov has been placed on Injured Reserve.
The Coyotes will open the 2008-09 National Hockey League season at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11 when they host the Columbus Blue Jackets at Jobing.com Arena.
